B&M Megashifter opinions

I have been looking at getting one of the truck megashifters and wonder how they handle daily driving? Does the "ratcheting action" affect being able to put it in "drive" and go or just mean you can put it in 1st and just tap it up to 2nd and 3rd? Any feedback is welcome.

I used one in my k5 for about 2 year daliy driven with no problems. As for the ratching part when you have it in park and pull the lock release it will go to Drive and lock in then if you want first just pull the lock again and slid back other wise you can ratch it either way.( down to 1ST then back to drive) I think that is right. I when manual about a year ago so not 100% but that sounds right.
