I've been away from ck5 for about 5 years now trying to get back into wheeling.

I have DIY B52 front spring mount. Question is do I have to move the rear spring hanger forward or can I leave it in factor position.

sorry for the newbie questions till I get a membership I have to ask the stupid questions cause I can't search

If you're using 52" spring the rear hanger is typically moved to improved shackle angle.

I'm not sure but I believe that if you're using 56" springs the rear hanger can stay in the stock position.

You can leave the rear spring hanger in the factory location even if you are using 52's. That is what I have. Now, I do have the Abomb bumper with integrated B52's, but it's the same thing. I have 6" shackles and it puts my shackle angle pretty much perfect IMO. If you look in my build thread (link in sig) I have a few pics of when I did the 52 spring swap.

Even if you are using normal lift springs, you can still run the B52's with the spring the the most rearward whole of the bracket and it will keep everything else in pretty much the stock location. That's what I had before going 52's

Welcome back! I wondered what happened to some of the CO crew.:thumb: So do you still have the same rig or building a different one?
