Hey Dean, I've heard you can buy pills that will make your Jimmy work again. Maybe you should look into getting some of those.:haha: Actually, I was just thinking how you need to get over this back pain and get the BBB in driveable condition before you're deposed as the Godfather.:eek1:
I'm getting 6" springs for the K20, and putting my 4" springs on the K5. I just HAD to build a second Chevy trail rig, since these fockers get so testy when I wheel the Jeep. Although, my family doesn't care to travel in the Jeep anyway, so this all works out pretty well.:D

beth brought me some of those home from work before. lets just say she wasn't walking so smoothly the next day. she never brought those home again.:D:D:D

are you still going 14bsf on the k5? would that still be 6 lug?

:haha::haha::haha: I always tell Amber to hand me the phone when we see those "male enhancement" pills on TV. She says,"Don't you dare, you're enough trouble as it is.":haha:

I believe they made them in 5, 6, and 8 lug versions on different trucks. I'd love to find a 6lug one, but I haven't looked around yet. I'll still use one if I can find one.

i know there are aftermarket 6 lug shafts, but i don't know what they cost. i'm sure it would beat the price of 8 lugging the front end and buying new rims.

crap I thought this was the bs thread. I better get to work or it will become that:doah::bow::haha:

keep up the good work dean.:waytogo:

(wasn't this a BS thread from the start?)

Good morning Dean, Looks as if your taking the shots normally reserved for Hoby today.
Anyway, I think it's about time for a Baby Blue Jimmy progress report.
Have I missed anything? Are you dilligentlly working on [at least] the little low-budget things?
Everyone's got those.

no sir:o I don't know if you read anywhere about my back problem? I hurt it pretty good. I couldn't move or get out of bed for a few days. Pinched nerve and shifted hip bone. Its coming around now, I can walk pain free but I'm not out of the woods as far as lifting anything for now. I will get to it again soon. I was gonna put the doors back together, glass, regulators and such but the other doors were out back and it was way too muddy to get and drag to the garage with this back.

Ok then, hang in there, take lots of dope and rest.
Never had a back problem but I've heard stories of pain from others who had...not good.
I finally ordered that diff-cover from Blue Torch Fab today.
Getting tired of hitting the aluminum Hickey one I have on there now.
I'm afraid one of these times it'll crack.

WTF, still no progress?!?:eek1: This is what happens when the project isn't driveable, it just ends up sitting in the yard with nobody paying any attention to it.:doah:
Get with the program, Dean. It'll look way cooler sitting in the driveway with an engine and trans in it than it does now.:D

Don't say nobody's paying attention to it. I had the city out giving me grief for being white trash, so I think someone is paying attention to it:doah:

actually the plan was to degrease and pressure wash the motor and get it ready to go back in. so as long as the back is feeling ok I will push it out of the garage and clean it when I get home from work today. Meth sales are down so its been kinda hard. :o

My boss always teases me and my truck calling me a red neck. I always am glad they are paying attention.

Now I just need to get my gun rack installed in it.

yeah its in the loan docs.:D

Turns out Apple Valley is trying not to look wt. They want to clean up. Its for the most part really nice anyways. My hood is nice and clean, they just don't want to see all the truck stuff from the street, so I put the slats in the fence and all is good. I can understand some of what they are doing.

I was looking around Palmdale, Lancaster, towards that direction and there are some nice houses really cheap. the one I had liked is a almost 4000sq.ft home with about 3 acres and the house was remodeled but not completely. It's enough were I don't have to build everything but enough that it will have my ideas. The backyard was completely redone, BEAUTIFUL, grill (propane and wood), stained cement, everything was redone and completed, the front needed to be finshed. It was only $300 something thousand. Cheap in my opinion.

I'm thinking of movng to a much bigger house with more property now that it's cheaper. I need the room and space. With 3 kids, I need a quiet place were no one can find me sometimes.

Sooo, how far would this place be from my house? Westside school district is considered the best up here, as far as public schools go.
Yeah Dean, it's looking like this is the new BS thread until you get some new pics up.:haha:

Just got home, posted some pics for someone and now I'm off to the garage for some easy stuff so we don't hurt the back. Baby steps for the baby blue back:crazy:

oh and BS all you want that way I won't feel so bad when i jack up one of your threads:D

Good morning Dean. I finally got that 12 bolt diff cover in the mail.
diff cover 001.jpg
Since I don't have much time to work on it I might as well gather partsand then wait for the time off.
Next will be the 2.5" shackle flip from ORD.
I think if I do away with the 4" and put some 2" lifted springs they will hold a better arch cuz right now mine arnt workin' too well.
