Keep diggin' Dean. Oh ya and happy new year.
Baby steps.... it's all about the baby steps.

C- mon Chris, help me out here.
The man IS making an effort.
Ya gotta give him that.

Yeah, whatever! I think he was just starting to get nervous that Rob might have something running before him.:haha: OK, that'll never happen, but it was still funny.;) Nice to see you working on it, Dean. Now you just need an "I love FJ's" sticker on your CB, and it'll be complete.:doah:
So, I was working on getting the K20 ready for next weekend, and then I discovered that the damn t-case I put in it won't engage 4wd. It goes into low but won't lock in the front shaft.:doah: Fock it, I'm just going to work on getting the 1ton together and not even mess with the K20 any more, except for the cab, since it's going on the 1ton. No, I won't have the 1ton together for next week, but I patched my sidewall damage from Calico so I can have the Heep ready.
I already heard the twin stick story, and sometimes, free just isn't cheap enough.:D

Pennis issues is not allowed in my threads :haha: Or I will get roadnocha on him :D
Good luck with that one, Hoser! I don't think Brent's gonna help YOU with anything.:haha:

Man, that wasn't much of a burn.
Ya see Chris, the way it works is I build him up and you knock him down.
Kinda like a good cop-bad cop scenario. This in turn, confuses the lad thus adding to our entertainment

So remember,
Good Chris..... Bad Chris.

damn good chris bad chris. :doah:

well I just pulled a leaf out of the front leaf springs to soften it up, what a difference just in the bounce test in the garage. :D:D

ok back to the garage. :wink1:

Sorry Chris, it's just that Dean is getting to be so boring. I mean, it's getting to be just like whipping a dead horse. Nothing happens.....at all. That's kinda why I had resorted to using this for another BS thread. It's kinda more fun now to ignore his build and just dump my own useless info in here. You know, build threads are like assholes....everybody's got one and all (OK, most) of them stink.:haha:

On the contrary, MY build thread is BAD ASS :D .
Yours is more like "The Neverending Story", Rob.:haha: And that's without even getting into the fact that you coulda built cages for 3 blazers outta what you used in yours. That's not uncommon on here either. There are a LOT of build threads around here that never made it to a test drive, and haven't had an update in 6 months or more.:doah:

Good thing West Ham wasnt on TV this weekend :haha: actually got somethings done. Well they were, just not on a station I get.

I questioned the hardware that ORD sends out with their zero rate and they said it would be fine, well it stripped and I got some grade 8 hardware to replace it. You would think for the price they charge for everything they wouldnt cut corners like that. Its kinda like the steering brace and weld on brace. The instructions say if you use both together you would need longer bolts. Hmmm well how about if you order the two together throw the right bolts in. geez all mighty. hmm let me spend my money so I can go and get the right parts to finish the job. jerkit.gifsoapbox.gif

wait a minute... Ive got the plates and brace sitting in my garage. the bolts arent gonna work?????:doah:

Don't worry, so far Dean's building a lawn ornament ,so don't go by his rant.
ORD makes a great part with good hardware to boot. Yes, it can be unproved in some ways but, overall still good.

Chris is right about the part being very well built. I do however think that the price I paid was paying for the bolts not just the part, so that being said I think they need to send the right bolts out. Now I have to pay for the bolts twice. :doah:
