looks good dean, BUT turn the wheels when flexed ant i think it might hit. Whats up with the pump i thought you where getting a replacement a while back?

So you don't think it will hit when its turned?? no reply got me wondering.

sorry Matt forgot to reply,
well I really dont think so, its trimmed better than the step side was, and has a bigger bump stop. I looked in there when the wheel was up in it, and it looks as if there is a lot of room. I could be wrong, but I really think I got it trimmed good. Plus the axle is moved forward on this one. The only real way to tell is on the trail. running up on rocks for pics is different then trying to get over something.

Well I drove it around a bunch yesterday, flexed it with the wheels turned, and it seems ok. Its still not a "trail" situation, but I think it shouldn't rub. Thanks to Brian going TBI on his junk, I got his edelbrock fuel pump. The one I had is their old design and it cracked hitting the motor mount. I put this one on and the pressure is consistent at 5.5 and It seem to run well on steep hills.

Thanks guys for any help you gave, parts, or turning a wrench. or talking chit :doah:

Rest assured, with 38" and a 4" lift you will have some tire rub.
I have 35's and a little more than 4" lift and I can make mine rub at T.D.S.

No complaints about the K5 in the driveway, just the other trucks sitting on the street in front of their houses :D :haha:.

My new licence plate idea...."JNGLGYM" What'cha think? :D

Why would you pay for a license plate just to put it on the wall in your living room? I know it's not going to be needed any time soon on the K5.:haha:

Now come on, I just said "idea" is all, actually getting it would just be totally foolish now wouldn't it. :haha:That would be like putting a licence plate on a rock, ya'know. :D
