I was doing great till about 2/3 up the trail when I blew a right front u-joint which took out both shafts on that side. I then got the truck turned around and started heading back down the trail in 3wd then pow, left front u-joint and shafts went. Then I was in 2wd. Coming down the trail in 2wd just makes it very difficult to do things without breaking more stuff... Ended up with a tally of:
4 front axle shafts
2 ujoints
front driveshaft
winch rope
2 windows
1 headlight
no oil pressure for 20 minutes or so
All seems well though, still blasting up sand dunes at 60 mph the next day, but in 2wd /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
