Back from Las Cruces early - the truggy is down again.

Sorry to hear about your breakage...

Cruces is it's own animal!.... What's really humbling is to hook up w/ the locals and watch them attack those waterfalls! Definitely a driving technique that I have not yet mastered....

BTW, I didn't make this waterfall either.

But an extra cab toy on 37's and a TJ stretched to 115" wb on 46" Mickey's were the only ones in our group that made it..

Hey, who let you back in? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Now where is that flip-off icon.... /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

And it was doable. The 122" wb hybrid on a Suburban frame had only moderate trouble. In fact, after being denied, I mentioned that I thought the Great Pumpkin would make it fine if it didn't get hung on the tail overhang while on the approach. Look how close the back of my truggy is to the floor of the wash. But then again, your front tires would have been about 2' past the top by the time you got to that point... /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif What are you now, 132" or so isn't it?

Sweet, I made some camio appearances in those pics! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Russ, I have some more pics of your truck in action, even the one where you tried to runover Jeff! /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sorry about the truck... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

LOL! Hey, I told everyone to clear out! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif I saw him crouched over there, but never thought I would wind that far over. I wonder what it looked like with a 42" TSL coming down spinning a few inches from your foot? /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif He's a great guy and I'm glad he didn't get hurt... even if he does drive a Jeep... (say, didn't he drive out under his own power? /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif ) /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I've also got some more pics of other people and the trucks, I just haven't gotten around to resizing and uploading them yet.

I guess I can't say much, I was standing just a few feet away from Jeff! /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

BTW - Jeff had the white S10, his daughter(/forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif) drove up the waterfall. Norm was piloting the Grand(he got his Ox locker working later that night) /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Oops! Sorry, I'm terrible with names, especially when introduced to that many new people at once. I thought it was Norm that was setting there, guess not.

And my daughter was riding shotgun with her when she drove it! She had a blast...

So, how did the rest of the trip go after I bailed?

And it's 127"... get it right

looks like a lot of good waterfalls.
let us know when you have more pics to post up on your site.

Sunday went well, no major breakage except James(Red S10 Blazer) lost a cap on the 60 ujoint. We didn't have the parts/tools to fix it so he drove it out. It wallered out the stub BIG time and also slighty enlarged the inner ears as well. He ended up having to weld the ujoint to the inner and installed a new 35spl stub. Also, Jeff's steering is giving him problems...I think it's either the location of the taps on his box or just a LOT of air in the lines...

Sunday's trail didn't have any obstacles like the one on Sat, they were all doable. On Monday we didn't have the GPS coordinates for the trail so we basically wandered about in the desert for while and happened upon it. It was very short and we did it backwards. /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

The rest of the East Coast Guys are wheelin in Farmington today and I think they're headed to CO tonight or tommorrow.
