That bronco has been sitting in a barn for like 30 years lol. The shocks are totally wasted but the drum brakes made it impossible to stop with the new built engine. Its still an ongoing project. One thing at a time. At least it stops now lol.

Also, We used the chevy eldorado calipers and I wish I would have opted for those now that I have had my hands on them. I think guys think they are more finicky than they actually are.

oh those eldo caliper are, wait till you need to retract the pistons for new pads, and then hope they don't leak. Brand new outta the box sure, neato. i you could go say 10 years with out new pads then wtf get pads and calipers every brake job.

You never said d30 or d44 front axle on that Bronco ? Watch what your calling Vintage I used to work on those Heep Wagoners when they were every where. :doah:

i disassembled the calipers to better understand the mechanism. I think they have updated the design from the OG calipers over the years.

Believe the front is a D44 and it has a Ford 9” in the rear.

The wagoner has D60 front and Back

Wow brandy new, nice. Close yet ?
Yes, we are all moved in now. What an absolute cluster F. The insurance company dropped the ball during closing, alot of things didnt go as planned. Title screwed up my name on the closing docs so had to REDO ALL of it twice! Seriously was such a stupid hard time to get this place, but now we are here and its all worth it. Having this amount of land and privacy is priceless. IMG_7407.jpeg

I've bought and sold a bunch of houses. When we bought our house up in Idaho I used a place called Idaho First Mortgage in Idaho Falls. They were the best mortgage lender I've ever seen. Never asked for anything more than once. I got them everything they asked for right away. No screw ups. We closed in like 30 days. I used them again many years later down here in Utah to do a refinance and same thing, super-fast and super simple. I've used other big banks and had the whole process go to shit at the end after repeatedly giving them the same paperwork several times. Or having to deal with appraisals that were way off. Glad you made it through.
