Races look nice and so do the outer bearings. Just some trail spares which is nice.

I found the offending ridges.

Can still see where they were but can’t catch a finger nail on them now. 
Hopefully that elongates some premature bearing failure.
i think I’ve decided to go with the non ebrake calipers and just install a line lock.
Just put the order in now it’s time to flip through the ol’ rolodex of excuses for the wife lol
Ruff stuff diff cover. Would have been nice if they would tell you the stock shoulder bolts won’t work with it lol 
I thought they did?
They don’t have them clearanced enough on this one apparently. Shoulder hits the cover or the welds on most of them.
Only two of them are clearanced enough to not hit the shoulder bolts.

Me and stainless don’t get along.
Most of them don’t need much to clear but there are two that are way off.
I mean I thought they said stock bolts won’t work. Idk, been a while. I think I used little head 12 pt. ARP bolts on mine. Metric because ’03 up
I think I’ll go with the ARPs as well. I like the look on those. I thought it would work with the stock bolts For some reason.
No more squeaky heavy blazer tailgate. Guy came into my work and started asking me about my blazer. Said he was looking for a tailgate. Said mines for sale. Slapped the cash on the counter. This morning I went to his fab shop and we pulled it off.
It’s totally removable without pulling the rear bumper. So for those lurking and wondering. It’s just pulling the 8 bolts for the hinges and then using a pry bar to pop the helper springs off their bolts while somebody else holds the gate in the closed position. 2 person job but only takes about 15 min.
