I have a good feeling about the way I did this. It seals super tight no visible gaps. Put a piece of super heavy duty stripping on the glass. And also built up RTV at the top of the seal to close the top gap. I think it’s going to work.
Outperforming Smittybilt isn’t a huge thing based on my underwhelming experience, but better than Warn is a pretty big deal.It out performed the smitty built and the warn in the same price range. So I went with it.
here is the link. He really puts them to the test.Outperforming Smittybilt isn’t a huge thing based on my underwhelming experience, but better than Warn is a pretty big deal.
Larry has a 10k shittybilt in the back of his k10 and I’m not overstating this, it has broke something every damn time he’s used it. One of those times Larry’s truck was two wheels off the side of a mountain when it broke the case for a second time. I had to use my 15 year old Warn to finish the job.
I’d like to see the test on the one you got if you got a link. It could be a low cost option for my customers if we can find a distribution point for the brand.
They are no longer called "Zeak" but there is a company on amazon selling them under a different name. Called AOTOWO on amazon however you get the "Zeak" winch in the box with Zeak branding and everything in the box.Outperforming Smittybilt isn’t a huge thing based on my underwhelming experience, but better than Warn is a pretty big deal.

Yeah all the winches in the test video above are China winchesI think the warn vr are made in china too, no?
I like my harbor freight Badlands. My horror freight apex 12k has been great for a few years now. Used it on pritchet a couple times and all around the neighborhood here.
Was not fun to do on mine. Scotch Brite and adhesion promoter are your friend.By far the worst part of sanding these trucks is the cowl I nearly opted for the $17 one on LMC just to save the 3 hours it took to sand each louver. But was worried the A/M may make fitup a pain. I know this one fits. View attachment 464512
