Correct me if I am wrong but the O ring goes in first then the plastic insert? I believe when I jammed this to get out of AZ I did it the opposite.

Yeah I think I put the plastic bushing inward towards case and oring outward towards frame. Hope I can get that out. Thats probably why the lever is so hard to shift into 4x as well. Hoping I can get a drill bit into that plastic bushing by hand to pull it out.
