theres two wires coming off the motor on the back window. I got a momentary switch that has 3 prongs on it, two on each side then one in the middle. Any idea what wires go where?

The switch wires are one power in and two power outs.

The two wires going to the motor are both power wires and it grounds to the motor body.

Just match up the colors and make sure you have a good ground.

so would i be able to test it without mounting the motor in the tailgate how its supposed to be? I tested it with the wires from the motor on the two outer prongs, and the power from batter in the middle earlier and it didnt work...

You are going to want to ground the body of the motor either by holding it directly to the neg term on bat or (perferred) running a wire from neg term to the body. Then take a wire from the pos term and touch to the posts on the electrical connector on the motor. One should cause the motor to turn clockwise and the other counter clockwise.

Bad Squeak

Does anyone have this really bad squaking sound when the window is being rolled down and it is near to being all the way down? Its a power window, and it sounds like its coming from the window itself, not the motor or nything. Thanks!

You might want to start a new thread instead of thread-jacking one about a different subject.

You'll probably get more replies.
