How can you tell what is the proper back pressure? Reason being is that Im getting some free headers, with true dual exhuast from my father in law, from a screwed up order. So Im wondering if this new exhuast with running only dual cats, would I have proper back pressure on a stock 90 5.7lr 350?

Will work for parts, beer and sex.

That shouldn't be a problem. Cats should restrict your exhaust enough to get the proper backpressure. I'm running Dynomax headers with true duals and a pair of Walker glasspacks with no cats on my 75 Firebird. It has a bone-stock 350 with a 2bbl and run fine(if only that darn choke wouldn't stick and the fuel pump wasn't going out on me)

Now, I'm talking about running just the cats, no mufflers. Still ok????

Well it'll be louder than hell, and I don't know if it'll be a nice sounding loud either. The cats will give you some backpressure but not much. Why don't you install some Flow-masters along with the cats?

The only reason I was thinking of doing this was because I have stock exhuast now, but no muffler. Only running the cat and it sounds great. But I wasn't thinking that the headers are going to make it a little louder.
