I am putting a back seat in my K-5 and was wondering how was the rear mounted? The seat i have has the realease part of the rear mount but what does the part that attaches to the floor look like? Pics would help a lot

The '76 would have the old style seat that bolts down front and rear.1979jimmy350 said:I am putting a back seat in my K-5 and was wondering how was the rear mounted? The flip-and-fold style is newer, though I can't remember if it was '78 or came in the 80's.
You're gonna need a welder to make the latch release seat to work on a '76 tub... do you know what you're in for?
I can run out in a bit and get you pix of both if you're gonna go fab-happy... but you might well be better off getting the old style seat, especially if you don't want to be MIG'in it.
