I am putting a back seat in my K-5 and was wondering how was the rear mounted? The seat i have has the realease part of the rear mount but what does the part that attaches to the floor look like? Pics would help a lot

its just a 90* angle piece on the seat that secures to the floor with a nut on the underside of the floorboard

If you have the removable one, it's just a rectangle cut out of the floor with a round bar running across the width of it. I can snap pics later today if no one has already.

The '76 would have the old style seat that bolts down front and rear.

The flip-and-fold style is newer, though I can't remember if it was '78 or came in the 80's.

You're gonna need a welder to make the latch release seat to work on a '76 tub... do you know what you're in for?

I can run out in a bit and get you pix of both if you're gonna go fab-happy... but you might well be better off getting the old style seat, especially if you don't want to be MIG'in it.

If you need any other angles or specs let me know. BTW, these are from a third seat of a burb, but I was told they were the same when I was looking to buy my third seat. Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.
