Seached out this problem, but found no answers. It seems a few guys had this problem, but never posted any answers.
Here's what I have.
90 blazer, swapped '93 454 tbi, 700r trans.
Idles fairly well, but as soon as I put it in gear, it backfires thru the tbi. I would have to feather the throttle just to get it to move.
I had a 350 throttle body on it about a week ago and it moved fairly well except for it not shifting properly. Then I put the 454 throttle body (modified for the tv cable) Now I have the problem above.
Any ideas?
