I bought this junker/clunker '84 3/4 ton from a sawyer for $200. He had just bought it a monthe earlier for $700 with a new clutch. He plowed once, and it started spewing anti-freeze from "the head gasket" under the alternator. All it was was an easy-to-get-to frost plug. Pullled the alt, and put in a rubber one for $2.49, as I mangled the .66 steel one.
Now it still needs three tires fixed, and a bunch of small things, but "timing is everything"! The sawyer was happy to see it go...

Sawyer? Cuts wood. Give him a log, he gives you a 2x4... Can u tell I live in the boonies?
It's big industry out here... But it's the way to cut wood, 'cept ya have to take a drive to get it, but they'll cut it to any size... and cheaper than Home Depot or Lowe's, and warps much less, but dusty. LOL...
I took several shots when I pu'd the teeruk, but ya can't see his operation, shame...

Can ya tell I'm an urbanite? :haha:

Man, I miss being a hillbilly... I live to tree-fell and chop wood when I'm camping... It's my thing to do on vacation, well, other than the lazy fishing.. :wink1:
