well, i've tracked down yet another wobble in my truck...after the DW was fixed, and the square tire was taken care of...now i get a wobble/bounce that comes and goes...sometimes worse than other times. sometimes it's not there at all. so i hit my rear diff and my driveshaft with an angle finder and i found out that my diff is at 18degrees up and my shaft is at 15degrees. it is a CV shaft, so i think i need to be 2degrees under the D-shaft angle which means i need 5degree shims. now, i can only find 4 and 6degree shims on summit....so, would i rather be a degree down, or a degree up. also, will they come with bolts long enough to fit my 10leaf packs???? thanks alot!!!!

also...what size diameter bolt do i need to go through my 1ton springs....im finding alot. and i do now see that i can get them in 5in long, which is fine.

I've used a 3/8 grade 8 bolt before. Had to round the top alittle for it to fit in the hole, but worked great. Just dont rounded it to much if you have to.

Yep, for spring pack bolts, use 3/8" grade 8 ... either round the head off (poor man's vise: threaded end in a drill and head up against a bench grinder) or if you can get grade 8 allen-head bolts, use them.

Definitely steel shims. Can't speak to degree under or over though. Given Summit's $12/order "handling" fee I'd almost just order both.

ORD has just what you need. They will supply you the center bolt and all.

And yes, 1 to 2 degrees below your shaft line is good.
