Bad switch?

Ok my headlights were flickering on and off. I lost my dash lights and running lights. I figured it to be the headlight switch. I pulled it, cleaned it, and everything works again. since cleaning (And i drove at night for the frst time since) there is a electrical burn smell coming from the switch. Is this just the contact cleaner burning off or is it time to get a new switch?

I have a feeling it's probably time for a new switch. Sounds like the contacts are about toast. They are not all that expensive and pretty simple to replace so I'd say make a parts store run.
