bad u-joint

Well im a dumbass. So i got my 14 bolt in and have a u-joint on order since they were our of stock. i just let my truck sit but last night i had to drive it. or figured it wouldn't be that big of a deal because the u-joint was seated just to small. anyways got there fine no problems. but on the way back a little drunk i hear click click boom. i stop the truck and look under the drive shaft is missing. well it was on top of the exhaust. i broke this part on the transfer case. i tossed the drive shaft in the back and gimped it home in 4wheel drive. only 100 yards. hope i didn't do any more damage.

going to truck farm to pick up another one tomorrow. just wondering if there is anything else that might have fallen off. I've never taken one apart so if i need to pick something else up please tell me so i have to go back. So i learned my lesson the hard way wait till the proper u-joint is in the back because in the end you going to mess something up

yeah it is. but is there anything else i will need to pick up or is that one piece it and some more fluid

I think that is the only piece you will need and then pick up a new seal. You will be able to tell when you remove the piece from the donor. Might grab a driveshaft while your at it if you need one. And maybe some new straps/bolts for the pinion yoke if yours got trashed. Always good to have spares anyway!
