this is on the Ranger, but it's got noisy while driving...noise gets worse when I turn either way...can't tell if a tire is out or if my bearings are going bad...or could it be something else?

if louder faster and more with turning a bit and putting pressure on bearings ( driving like a drunk weaving ) then wheel bearings.

what year truck ?
2wd or 4wd ?
little more info help for better answer.

Yeah...I was doing the Indie / NASCAR tire warmup motion and that's when it is at its worst

1999 Ford Ranger 2.5 2 wheel drive

then time for wheel bearings.

thay should be reg old style wheel bearings. parts listings didn't show unitized style . so time to get grease n dirty.

and if rotors / brakes look even close do new rotors at same time. save you from swaping out races on the rotors.
