Badk5buggy (Test with pics)

I thought of buying a panel, but It's way to cheap to build.
I purchased a Summit Racing starter switch ($7), carling toggle switches ($12), carling breakers ($15) and some rubber boots ($10). The cover is polished aluminum, I fabbed the box from 16 GA steel.

I need one more toggle switch before installing..

I did some test driving at Wellsville over the weekend..I was very pleased.:D :D :D

I hit a couple nasty trails, like the Ugly Trail and some of the other offshoots found in the rock garden. After running up the Chinese Water fall, I went after the big flat rock down river.

With the front tires on the rock, I grabbed the twinstick and disengaged the rear axle, then dried the front tires...by smoking them.:D
Now that my front tires were sticky, crawling was easy.

My buddy Harry Flattened out the pics a bit..:doah:

I've seen a couple rollovers here, it's easy to slide to your left...:eek1:

I pulled the shifter out for him after they got him outta the trees. Then I stuck a screwdriver in where the finger goes , and thought about where first was , and threw it in :) . The shop welded it up but said it would probley break . I think they coulda done a better job oh well.

Nice,
Are you gonna add a bulkhead behind the seats to keep mud and dirt off of you. What you gonna do for a hood?....

He's been wheeling it like a nutjob ever since he finished it. I've seen it in person and it's pretty awesome.

The radiator is held in utilizing a factory bracket.

Cool! How'd the cage handle that?

I banna'd one of the tubes..pushed it out with a porta power.

I must have a blessed Holley Truck avenger carb..
it was running smooth upside down.:D

The buggy looks awesome! I have a few questions about the fuel system. Im lookin to do a similar setup and was wondering what type of system you used? Mechanical or eletric pump?
An line or twist tite fittings or something else I havent considered yet? Fuel regualtor? Return line? -6an or -8an line? Also whats is the purpose of the two fittings on the top of the cell? I know one is a rollover valve but whats the other a vent? did you just leave it open? Any pics of the plumbing and close up of the cell would be greatly appericiated...I just ordered a truck avenger I hope its runs that well...

I know all about that. When i rolled my Blazer i tried turning the engine off but being upside down (i wasn't wearing a seatbelt so i was sitting on the headliner) i ended up tryin to restart it...:doah:

That was an experience
