Well I finally got to test out the Trazer
. I took it to the Badlands offroad park in Attica Indiana last weekend. The North American XJ Association (NAXJA) was having a winter meet and I figured it would be a good event to attend. I met up with a friend of mine, Dozer. He has an XJ that he just finished installing fullwidth axles from a late 70s F-250, dana 300 t-case, and leafspring front suspension. We also met up with his cousin, Greg. He has a real nice Chevy K-10, a 78 I think. Its got a 10-bolt front and a 12-bolt rear, crossover hi-steer, bobbed and tapered bed, sm-465/np205 and a bunch of other goodies. Its rolling on 37" boggers.
The Trazer was awesome!! I only broke two things; the steering stabilizer and the home-brewed 203 shifter. The steering stabilizer was actually broken in the campground
. I had to swap out the front two tires in order to fit the truck on the trailer. While swapping tires the jack slid in the mud and the truck tipped off the jack and landed on the stabilizer, bending it! Well anyway, on to the pics.

Dozer's XJ

Greg's K-10

The driver and passenger of this buggy were really lucky! The were driving pretty quick through the quarry and the buggy hit a mound. The rear end flipped over the front, it landed on the roof, then flipped back onto the wheels in these trees. Driver and passenger had some cuts and scratches, nothing major.

Yea I found out the hard way on my last wheeling trip. Went into a big water hole and had to stab the throttle. Threw a bunch of water down the back of my shirt, I just put my hoodie up for the rest of the day
