there's a new movie coming out called "Dust to Glory"- it comes out tomorrow! it's a documentary about the the longest race in the history of the world. anyone know about this? from what i've read the movie lets you feel as if you are part of the race. the same dude who did "Step into Liquid" did this movie.

Yep, Dana Brown. Son of the "On Any Sunday" series' producer Bruce (?) Brown. Been hyped so much that I've ceased caring. Could be and likely is a really good movie. Don't care.

i read from their website stating that kids are in the race too.
it seems really interesting though, can't wait to see it. I'll let you guys know what i think about the movie.
hey do you have any cool links to the movie?
the one i checked was http://d2gfilm.com/
thanks!0

i dont follow this kind of motorsport... but isn't paris-dakar longer?

j

really? i never heard of that. I just know that the trail for the Baja 1000 is close to 1000 miles. they said it is "the longest non-stop, point-to-point race in the world"

Did a quick google search, one site says paris dakar is about 6875 miles long... Baja is like a drag race by comparison. ;)

Dunno if they do it non-stop.. but it supposedly takes over 2 weeks.

Desert Racing.

Paris-Dakar may be longer, but they run it in stages over a period of time. The 1000 is non-stop from start to finish.
oooooooic :D
