Ok here the scoop i bought a 350 long block and i am geting it ready to put in. I bought a new 8" balancer and cover seal and started putting it on but not sure if its all the way on:doah:. So broke one install tool and got another one couple crank and broke another tool. It looks like it has to back father but im not sure?
Any hints, tips, pics, measurement??

Don't know why you broke the tool , but anti-sieze or a little grease on there first helps .

I know your NOT supposed to hammer them on , but prior to 67 when the cranks weren't drilled , guys hammered em on all the time .

It should go on until the balancer is flush with the end of the crank....is there a burr or something wedged in there (drift key)? Can you pull it back off? Hone it out a little with a brake cylinder hone.
