Anyone use balancing bags...? Ive seen them at a local tire place. To do a set of 40s it would be 20.oo a tire. They said they work well on bias tires but i dont see them working too good since bias tires get flat spotted easy sitting.

Anyone know anything about this..........??

I've got them in my 44" swampers. So far they are working great. Don't have any freeway time on them, but I've had it to 50 or so and no vibrations.

How are they when it sits a while and gets flat spots, do they go away faster..? What brand or kind did you use..?..also how expensive..?

My truck only gets driven once a month if that. So they should be as "flat spotted" as they are going to get, and I haven't noticed the thumping feeling after I get to 30-35 mph. I used CounterAct Plus and used 20oz in each tire. As for the cost..... FREE! I found 9 bags in an old junk car I was hauling to the scrap yard.

I just looked at the site and they say to use 8 oz per tire for a 40 inch tall tire. They seem to run about ten bucks or so a tire. Not too bad at all thanks.
