so i just went and got a used set of 39x15xR15 baja belted bias tires, i want to know what the best way to balance these things are, i was going to use BBs for 2 reasons, one i use them on my DD and they work good, and 2 it will be way easyer and i can get them mounted and BBs dumped in for free, if not im going ot be putting out $100+ to get these things mounted and balanced, i just dont want death wobble at all, i had it once on my truck (87 k5) with a set of bad balance tires my friend gave me, do not want that again, thanks guys

if you have had good luck with the BBs then use them. these arent going on your DD are they?

no not going on DD but im trying to keep this truck semi street legal so i can still drive it to places to offroad and what not cause i dont plan on gettin a trailer for it, so i would like it to be able to do 50mph safely at least and not be ether all over the road or death wobbling, read some things were people thought balancing bias tires with bbs were the best thing ever but then also read one or 2 were no, so i thought i would get yalls opinion

air soft pellets work best, wont rust or anything. i was fortunate enough with the set of 39.5's i use to have that they rode perfect up to 80mph on the highway, balanced enough for me. the tires ive got now have air soft pellets and they ride smooth as well up to ~80mph. of course i wouldnt advise doing so, but its nice to know you could if you ever needed to.

how many ounces did u use per tire, on the internationalbalancing site or what ever it said to use 12oz, 2 other people said they used 17 and it was smooth as could be, i measured out 16.5oz today and puttin the tires on tomm and dumpin it in, see how it works, heard other things were the chart can kinda be off so was going with real world tests on the same size tire

so i went ahead an did it, mounted them and put 16.5 ounces of bbs (.20g airsoft bbs) in each tire, its great, i get very slight death wobble effect not full blown but, at like 35 mph exact i get it, when i accelerate past it or slowing down but a steady 35 and hit a bump it will start to, then just tap brake and goes away, havnt been past 45-50mph ish yet but felt very stable at around 45 so, all in all, bbs worked great, thanks guys for help
