I need to replace my balljoints. I see they are $16.95/ea at LMC. MOOG runs over $60/ea. While I'm sure there is a difference, is it a big enough difference to justify the cash? This project has tapped me out and I really can't afford to spend the extra money unless it's really that much of a difference.

unless your running oversized tires i would just pick some up from a parts store they'll cost about the same price as lmc but you will get a warrenty that you can swap em out with later.

I am running 315's and will likely go smaller at some point.

Don't order ball joints from LMC. Almost all of their suspension parts are made in CHINA. Cheap, low quality, poor fit, poor performance. You get what ya pay for

The Moog upper joints have a provision to grease them when needed. The cheapo ones have the grease fitting on the bottom taking up the same real estate as the axle joint. You have to grease it during install and then cap it, never to grease again unless you remove the axle shaft.

Ill put in another vote for moog. Yes it sucks spending the extra money but it also sucks replacing them every year. I used a cheap set the first time I replaced a set. I changed them almost exactly one year later and then again a year later.

I run moog balljoints in every truck I replace them in now. My trail truck has the oldest set at 5 years and not a problem with 36-37" tires and hard use with several broken axles. And then there is that part 496 mentioned about being able to grease them, I think that has something to do with their longetivity.
