ball joints?

is any movement unacceptable?when i do a check [hands at 12 and 6]and give a push and a yank -i get a tiny movement-literally about 1/8 inch on each tire-good? or bad? any advice is appreciated. Thanks-

1/8" movement is too much. Wheelbearings could be the cause too though.

Remove the hub, grasp the spindle and see if there is any movement

That'll tell you if the balljoints are bad. To tell if the bearings are bad, push and pull on the wheel like before, but look behind the tire up there and see if the knuckle is moving 1/8" or whether it's inside the hub.
