this is my truck.ive been building it since i was 15 im now 20.i dont have any before pics but it was originally a 77 chevy blue and white mostly rust though. i did al the bodywork at my uncles shop when i was 17. at that point i didnt want to whel it too much i had a sami i was gonna build.that idea didnt last

me and a friend made the tiregate its a swingout that holds a tire and my highlift im working on mounts for 2 gascans. the back bumper is homemade as well

specs are
mild built 4th gen 454
th400
np205/203(have all parts for a doubler im just lazy)
14bolt detroit locker
dana44 open(have dana 60 once again im lazy)
homemade bumpers ,skidplates and swingout
55 gallon gas tank in bed
ord shackel flip
rc 4 in springs
bucket seats
full autometer dash

eventually after i put in the doubler and 60 im gonna put 63 rear springs and 56 fronts and alot more cutting:hack:

built in my driveway with help from friends and alot of beer

Theres another kid on here whos name is bananablaze or something like that. he has parted his rig out though I think.
 
Wheres Krazy Kid? He's got a really nice yellow 73 full-top K5.
 
I admire your knowledge at a young age someday i would love to have the time to learn how to do all this stuff! sweet chev man i also am lovin the yellow great color for any old school muscle!

rollin36's, i think iv seen you at hollister before. one time there there was a mud hole down from the camping grounds and i was there in my grey explorer and my buddy was there in his 2001 white GMC sierra. you went in nose first and sumerged your truck and we both pulled you out. this ringin a bell?? you also do the mud pit alot? if this is the wrong guy sorry. but my other buddy also has the yellow K5, names matt
 
hell yea i remember that....when i tried to go muddin with all terrains...but yea i remember you.when is the next time your headed up there
 
well im in the middle of swapin a 454 into my k5. i got rid of the xplorer when i blew the trany for the 3rd time. but il hit you up when im goin next. good build you got goin
 
i think i got all the **** i need except and extra pair of hands to put the basterd in. but u live just a little far for that.
 
it took 3 friends and me to put mine in...i would recomend taking your front wheels off to put it in..a 454 swingin that high up on a cherrypicker is like a wrecking ball
