Hey guys, looking to the brotherhood for some help. I own a HVAC fab shop and have begun to expand into custom welded frames for floor mounted rooftop units and machinery. I've been doing ok with my speed square and a grinder, but I'm looking to speed things up with a horizontal mitering bandsaw. From what I have researched, I needed at least a 7x10 in order to do 4" box tubing. I have looked at the Jet HVBS 7x10, it would fit my needs and not break the bank. Does anyone have any experience with this model, or can offer advice?

I have a Jet bandsaw, drill press , sander , and grinder , its a quality brand
Mine is a J-7060 and if you set the feed rate properly its cuts perfectly straight

I have grizzly tools in the woodshop and have been happy w/ them. Their cast parts are exactly the same as their Jet counterparts (wood lathes and bandsaws) so they're all probably made in the same chinese factory. Grizzly makes a 7x12 H/V bandsaw and it's half the price of the Jet 7x10.
