A Banks Turbo setup for a GM 6.2 diesel. Came off of a 1986 Blazer. I don't have any airbox/aircleaner and I haven't cleaned it up. I've got a bag full of bolts and hardware, but you'll probably have to get some new hardware and do some tinkering. Good for a 80s Chevy GMC pickup blazer or suburban.

now to figure out whether to put it on the m1009 or m1008 :thinking:
suggestions? :crazy:

Dude you suck! I was on my way to pick it up when he sent me an email saying it was sold. Somehow I knew it was probably you that got it. Good score though.

Assbag!

Which do you plan on driving more? I'm happy enough with the power due to the gearing of my 1008 that I'd put it on a DD 1009 first.

The link doesn't have a price (anymore?)

Good score!!

i am not real sure; i may drop the gearing on the m1008 and use it for a part time tow rig and i am upping the gearing on the m1009 to use it as a part time wheeler.

i am going through a time where i am trying to decide what all i really need to keep and what i need to sell. :confused:

i can't wheel but one at a time :crazy:

I say throw a 700R4 in the 1008 and put the turbo on it. Towing power and you get to keep the 4.56's.

Hey Jeff if you decide to do this I've got a 700/208 (maybe a 241) that I would trade for a 400/208. And you can drive the truck before it is pulled if you want. PM me if you are interested.

U lucky dog. I miss the turbo that my K10 had. Id love to have something like that fall into my lap for my C10

The ad has been "deleted by the author" is all I get. No price... but you got a killer deal. I'd say put it on the M1008 if its becoming a tow rig. It would be all but useless on a wheeler that doesn't do much more than idle on the trail.

i am not trying to be a smart-aleck, does it really not show up for you?
this is what it says for me;

I quoted directly from the ad's title...not sure if he edited or what, but in all seriousness the price never displayed when I looked at that link, and there was no blank spot where it should have been either. I'm really not sure what went on. :dunno:

it came with a burb that he had bought in arizona. his wife was from arizona and i guess that he was a college kid here at Texas Tech. he was redoing the burb and had a mercedes diesel in the garage. he said his wife wanted the burb and they bought it with a lot of problems and put a rebuilt engine in it in arizona and got 19 mpg on the way back with a turbo 400 and 4.10's in the diffs. it had some 32-33 tires on it and he commented about the big balloon tires and was going to put something smaller on it.
so, i figured he wasn't a wheeler.
