After reading numerous threads, I decided to try fabbing up OBA.

This was done on the cheap. The only thing I had to buy was a couple of fittings, and 2 hose clamps. Everything else, including the V belt, came off the donor car. The air hose I found at the local dump, which is where the 20 gallon tank came from.

No pressure switch, or blowoff valve. I have a gauge on the tank, so when it gets to 100 psi, I shut the compressor off.

FYI, 2 standard hose clamps will hold at 100 psi, on a non-flared piece of tubing. The intake filter came off a busted compressor. 2 clamps and a piece of heater hose connect it to the compressor inlet.

Tomorrow, I am going to bypass the low pressure switch, so I just switch the dash control to AC to turn on the compressor.

Did you need any of those parts you sent with me Mike?

Where did you mount the tank?

I'm not permanently mounting the tank. For wheeling, I fold the back seat forward, and use a seatbelt to hold the tank. That way, I can take the tank out, and reach almost 100 feet.

No James, I got everything I need.:D :D
