Barn door K5 conversion

I’m interested in doing 1/2 barn doors in place of the tailgate on the back of my K5.

I have seen the full barn door conversion done on the K5’s. Was wondering if the inner quarter for the suburban is used. Or need to see how they mounted the barn doors to the blazer.

If anyone had any info let me know. Thanks. Pic for idea.

Isn’t the tailgate opening a different size between a Sub and Blazer? The tailgates don’t interchange.

Not sure. It doesn’t look like it’s been modified for a narrower opening from the pics I have seen.

The truck and k5 are the same shape. The suburban is different from the body line up. There was a ton of body work involved with the doors in that pic. Way more than just adding hinges.
