Barn Doors and Tire Carrier Bumper?

Can a tire carrier bumper be used with barn doors? It seems like the doors would hit the tire carrier hinge. The only one I've ever seen is this one

, but it still looks like it would hit. Does anyone here have swing out tire carrier bumper and barn doors? If so, pics?

no i dont have one yet... hell i dont have barn doors yet.

but my plan was to mount it to the left so the right(primary) door could be opened with out it haveing to be swung away, and as far as the door hitting the hinge, my plan was to hav the arm wrap around the body a bit so the pin would be out of the way.

DarkShadow, that's a great idea to wrap it around to avoid the door, never would have thought of that myself.

oh yeah that's my favorite. I'm thinkin the main bumper it's from 4x4 iron and the side armor is is home brew but it's just an guess.

I'm thinkin of makin this rear bumper for my sub, minus the lights. and with an reciver and mounts for drings.

This is the on I built, I can open the right door with out moving the tire. The tire on it in picture is a 35", I designed it to accept a 38" tire.

Jay,
When I first looked I thought that was one freakin' huge hinge, but a 1/2 ton hub for a swing out, that's awesome. Oh, and nice touch leaving the lock on the top. Nice work and creativity. Can you open the left door all the way, once you move the tire out?
