Does anyone know if there Was ever a 6 lug version of the 14 bolt rear axle? maybe even the right length to fit my first gen K5?
also
Does anyone have any experience with the alloy case version of the 205 transfer case that chrysler used a while back? how much weaker were thay then the cast iron version (and how much lighter?) are they adaptable to a gm drivetrain?

thanks and a great holiday to all.

I don't know about the t-case, but there is a 6 lug version of the 14b semi-float out there. One from the late 80's early 90's should be a direct bolt in. :D

Not a bolt-in. Moving perches and shock mounts will be necessary.

Alloy case 205?! All the Dodge ones I've seen are iron. Maybe you're thinking of the 208 or 241... the chrysler versions were fixed yoke.

73-91 old body was 8 lug semi float only. 88-up new body is 5-6-8 lugs wider axle and need to move perches and shock mounts like said.
