I am considering buying a K5 Blazer. How many adults will the back seat hold? I want a seat belt for each. What is the overall width of the K5 with mirrors? Are there any significant mechanical differences between the Blazer and Jimmy? Any help with these questions would be greatly appreciated.

Blazer/Jimmy - other than cosmetic differences they are all the same except the Jimmy is better!

The back seat has two seat belts but can seat 3 close together.

The outside measurement on the fenders is about 6 ft. The mirrors add about 11 inches to each side(the lens iself is 9" long) for a total of 7.8 feet(ESTIMATED)...

Any other questions?

The Jimmy being better comment was just a personal preference...

Well, I know in mine, It'll fit 2 to 3 adults comfortably in the back when I have my rear bench seat in. But I must admit, there aint too much leg room. But keep in mind, my K5 is 75'. From 73 to 77' the K5s rear bed was flat like the rear bed from a pick up truck. 78' to 91' that changed allowing more leg room for passengers. The rear bed is no longer flat but has a dip in the front half. I'm gonna have to go out and measure the width of the truck with from one mirror to the next, but I know the wheel base is 106.5" on the 73 to 91' models. No really big or major or mechanical differences between the Blazer and Jimmy. They're really the same truck. Only the cosmetics are different. Some prefer the Jimmy look and some the Blazer look. They have different trims, grill, etc. Anyways, hope that helps yah.
