Currently sitting at bone stock tired old leafs + shocks all around. I'm still a bit out from time for this, but my think is once I'm ready for suspension (four linked on tons maybe in the far future - today it's stock+), I'm gonna do as much rust remediation as plausible, then drop her off at Alaska Spring and ask them to put new leaf packs, shackles, and shocks on. Given what they did for my Granada years ago (about an inch and a half of lift in the back just from a leaf pack replacement), I think I'm gonna ask them to put an extra leaf in the pack and stand me up 2" in the back and 1.5" or so in the front, and put corresponding shocks on.
This is one of those time+money+effort decisions, I'm probably going to be out in Dutch Harbor working my duck off when this is happening.
So the question is, when do I start needing to worry about driveline length and angle, steering geometry, bump steer, etc? For the forseeable future, this is probably as high as I'm going to go - should be just enough to comfortably run 33s.
