WHere does the + cable of the battery go to?

um...
It goes from the + battery terminal to the starter solenoid!!...there are 2 big red wires with fusible links in them that go behind it too,on the same stud...

some advice...
You will probably have to drop the starter to get at that stud on the solenoid!--and that "stud" is actually a carriage head brass bolt,anchored only by the plastic cap on the solenoid--it cracks the cap REAL easy if your not VERY careful!..be forewarned!-
-I only take them off if I have too,and make sure I have a spare solenoid,or at least the plastic cap hanging around before I do!....thats one of the things I hate about chevy's--where they PUT the + cable on the starter(hard to get at if you need to "jump" the solenoid--and the fact you have to pull the starter to change it,and how easy the cap can crack...
