Girlfriends cat got out tonight so went looking for it. Went to grab the flashlight out of the truck and the batteries were dead on it.

For lights that you keep in your truck for emergencies how do you keep the batteries fresh especially during the cold months.

I've got a Streamlight PolyStinger mounted in my truck. Although it doesn't show it in the pic, it comes with a charger of your choice. I choose the one that is pictured here and mounted it on the dash. It's extremely bright and always has a full charge when I need it. Don't know how it does in the cold since I live in sunny CA, but these are the same lights that you see the police blinding you with when they greet you at your car door.
