I have the 6.2 diesel in my truck with dual batties. Right now the battrys are just sitting on that little shelf but they are bouncing around too much. Do you guys have any ideas to hold them down. Right now they have tie downs on them and thats not the most brillant idea...

if they're the correct type (group 24? I forget) there should be a bolt-down gizmo at the rear of the tray to hold them in place.

If this doesn't make sense, lemme know and I'll scan the LMC catalog and post a pic :)

they both have that hole where that little plate holds it down but one is missing the plate and the other doesnt hardley hold it down anyways

I used some euro-sport battery clamps on mine. I had a battery on my last rig unclamp and cut my steering hose, start a small fire and melt on my headers. It still work afterwards too. Optimas rock.
