Dont know why i had it hooked up like this but it wa sure working fine till yesterday.

I got an yellow top battery with a 0/0 cable going to the starter and 2 1/0's to the block have the 3 ground wires as well but yesterday when trying to start the truck the started kind of stalled sort of like a dead battery im guessing damn cables can someone jump in here and lend me a hand also what gauge do the 3 grounds have to be 1/0???

So what makes you think its a cable issue? if all your connections are clean you shouldn't have a starting issue with your cables. sound like starter, battery or the charging system.

Your ground from the battery to the block should be equal to the size of the power cable 0/0 or 1/0. I run 1 large flat grounding strap form the block to the frame using star washers for a good clean connection.

I have also added a few grounding straps along each frame rail to the body using 14 guage wire with crimp-on eye connectors self tapping screws. this was suggest to me from a ham radio friend. it is to help with the radio equipment i use. but i'm no expert and can't explain why.

I just re-read your ???. I'm a dork! sorry

I have no idea if 2x 1/0 equals 0/0. but i'm sure just 1 1/0 ground cable would be enough to start your truck if it is clean a tight. I would suggest that you run the same size wire for both ground and power cable.
