About how long of cable would I need to go down to the starter from the passenger side battery tray? I'm being lazy and don't want to pull it out and measure then put it back together. :doah:

Thanks Guys

mines just about 6'.. runs up the oil pan lip, over the x-member, along the frame, along the bottom of the rad support, up it and into my e-box.. actually probably a little more than going to a battery, depending on top post vs side...

You posted 6" when you meant 6'. Semantics.

I am about to pull my + cable out since I am relocating the battery.
I can give you the exact measurement of the stock one as soon as I get it removed.

That would be cool if you could if not, it's no big deal I'm just in a lazy mode today.

If you're lucky I might even pull the cable out tonight. :D

Do you need a measurement for the cable that goes over to the ALT?

Doesn't the negative go over to the alt bracket? I already have the negative cable just need to go out and buy one for the positive side, which is where the measurement is needed. Maybe I miss understood what you were saying.

The positive cable has two wires coming off the battery terminal. One goes to the starter, the other goes to the alternator for charging the battery.

thru the isolator on the firewall...how mine is...2nd wire goes to firewall block...so does alternator...and 1 from big starter cable lug iirc
