I hooked up an automatic battery charger to my blazer's battery and the charger says the battery is fully charged already. The truck has been sitting in my garage for over two months and was started briefly once in that time. I tried the other day and it barely cranked.

Why does the charger already show it as fully charged? Any ideas?

because your connections suck?
Seriously...look for corrosion on all the cable connections.

The battery charger only shows how much current the battery is drawing. If you do not have a good connection to the battery from the charger it will not show much current.
But if the battery is completely dead, it will not take a charge very fast right away. It has to get some of the acid back out of the lead so it is conductive again first.

If you are sure the connections are good, and the battery has electrolyte in it, just let the charger stay on it for a while and it may start taking a charge.
