Battery questions

Whats the warranty on that that battery, and how hard would it be to use? Any battery company can have a bad one every now and then. You have to remember RockAuto's business model. They are sell inventory from other businesses's warehouses, the battery you get might be old already.
I do like agm batteries and that is a fair price for one. @ half of an optima 34-78.
I buy my batteries locally so I can warranty them. And I buy the newest one on the shelf.
Sometimes Autozone will have used batteries, or discounted old stock, if cost is a consideration

warranty is 36 months, i dont now how there process is wih batteries just wondering about the battery it self

Sam's club has an agm for 200 bucks

I am done with agm batteries especially when I can warranty a regular battery for the same 36 months at $110/ battery.
Until the lithium batteries for automotive get reasonable in price or the sodium batteries become more common I will stay with conventional lead acid.
AGM was great when it was the best technology but now it's not worth it.
It's too sensitive to overcharge

I think AGM is the way to go if have a vehicle with start / stop or big draw accessories. For the older vehicles lead acid is fine.

Look for batteries with a high virgin lead content.

That is a good price. The ones I sell at work go for $260.00.

I still run an old optima in the jimmy with a battery disconnect. AGM in the challenger and lead acid in the others.

Maybe a Duracell brand. The NEver starts no I am done with those.
At keast Walmart changed the return process, I don't think you need to have receipt any more.

Yeah you don't need it anymore but you only get one exchange. Mine was a 3 year warranty and went out in one year, then went out the second year and they denied me.
I ended up getting a regular battery from Costco, they will exchange as many as it takes up to the warranty life

Looks like the FVP might be made by Deka.
Deka make batteries for a lot of labels. Maybe all of them at times, or sizes.

It's like reincarnation. The lead in your battery has been soaked in sulfuric acid for as long as you've been alive.

Deka and numerous other batteries are made by East Penn.

All napa batteries are also made by East Penn.
I wonder who makes the acdelco gold batteries. My dually is a 2011, and i’ve only replaced them once.

I am tired of the Walmart batteries failing, it drops below zero they quit just when you need the dam thing
and they started giving me crap every time knowing they have an issue

And there northern batteries so there supposed to be good in cold weather

This AC Delco Gold AGM was installed in 2018 was all most 2 years old when I got it. Still good pulled to install a Yellow Top Opitma. Is my Aux battery in 77.

I run those batteries in a couple different cars with batteries located inside the cabin or trunk. I buy them at batteries plus through our corporate account at a discount. I get 4-5 years out of those batteries.

I sell Interstate at work. My dealer will no longer sell me Optima batteries due to " manufacturing" issues. Between the last three I bought, they were warrantied a combined total of 10x. He finally gave me the MTP version of each. Like @imiceman44 said, just not worth the money.
