battery relocation

if i mount my battery in the rear with 1 gauge cable will that be able to handle a 9000 pound super winch on the front or will i cook the cable

I use 2 guage as thats what I had. It works fine for me.

Go buy some 1/0 welding cable if you don't already have the cable. Costs $1.15-$1.75/foot depending on how much the shop wants to take you to the cleaners.

Since the cable between the solenoid pack and the motor are probable 2 gauge those cables will get hot faster.
