The battery croaked on my '91. What group size are they? I need to pick one up at lunch.

I believe what I've got in mine is a group 74. Not sure that it's the standard battery for all years, but I bet GM went smaller when they could. IMO batteries are one of the items you want as big as will fit in the stock tray, and I believe without mods, the 74 is the largest that will. Unless you find one that is taller than a 74, and that's the only dimensional difference.

Your 91 blazer uses a group 78 battery. I like interstate batteries and if you want a dual terminal battery you want a MTP-78DT. Thanks guys. I ended up getting a group 34/78 optima red top. $139.99 at Sam's Club. The auto parts places wanted $159 to $199. I looked for a group 74, but nobody had them in stock locally. Then I looked for a straight group 78, but the group 34/78 was cheaper and had identical specs.

i go to a local battery shop here in town and get a great deal 1000CCA with both posts for $100 not bad, and still going about 4 years later too!
