WOW! I just made it through everything and it looks like you guys had a blast! Maybe someday with some more CK5 influence I'll have characterized sheetmetal, 1 tons and lockers so I can join ya'! Maybe after I finish college :)

On a side note, I was under the impression you guys (meaning CK5'ers) met up and ran the trails together... but it looks like you had multiple groups? How's all that work? Maybe it's just because I'm not familiar with the setup at Moab...

Anyways looks like a blast!

The pretty rigs go on easy runs , and the we don't give a flying expletive groups go on another :D

And some of us have a group with so much breakage they wheel tow rigs on Sunday :wink1:

Ok one more stupid question then I'll shut-up and enjoy the pics...

So is Moab setup so if you break you can be towed (as in strapped to another truck) out back to where your tow rig is (basically is the park a big loop)?
Or is it one of those once you go in you have to finish before getting out... like miniature golf style? :)

There are tons of people and trucks that show up, we run a few trails each day.

For instance I led Hell's Revenge on Friday and IIRC there were 16 or 18 trucks. Trust me, that's plenty of vehicles on a trail. I believe there were a similar number of vehicles running Metal Masher that day.

We do run trails together, but not everyone runs the same trail on the same day. There are also different difficulty ratings for the trails, there are probably 3-5 trail runs each day that run the whole gambit from easy-hard.

Most require dragging it out the way you came in , or the way your going , whichever is shortest or easiest .

Its certainly not a stupid question because you've never been out here.

It depends on the trail; some are a loop, some are dead ends (and you have to turn around at the top), and some drive through back to a major road.

Generally, the more difficult the trail the shorter it is.

A couple guys had to make a pretty inventive recovery on Pritchett this year (broken D60 knuckle), there are pics of that earlier in this thread I think.
