BB 2011 picture thread

WTF is up with the cylinder in the back of Shawn's truck? Even if it's empty i wouldn't wheel with that in the back of a pick-up. If it's not empty...:doah:

Its a tank of nitrogen, I have wheeled and bounced around countless miles with a tank in all three if my trucks for 5-6 years. If placed right and strapped they do not move. I would be much more concerned about peoples fuel cells than my capped non flammable gas under pressure.

Mine is mounted in between two pieces of 1 3/4" 120 wall tube welded multiple places in the bed and four 1/4" tabs welded to the tube with two straps keeping it against a piece of 1/4" angle welded in place.

I understand your argument but I am all but 100 percent confident in the placement of it baring a semi taking the truck out or a high speed roll.

I had a blast and came home and then put a dent in the truck when we decided to stop and wheel with friends lol, pics in a bit or tomorrow :)

Travis.. buddy VERY happy you are ok, considering the talk we had last night at dinner about the hi lift that is a very erie thought about your luck. w all got a ton of sleep but I had to pull over and have aaron drive for a bit myself.

Give me a holler here after you get settled in and things situated:waytogo:

glad you're still around fabjunkie, nodding off while driving is a scary thing, I hate feeling that way and hate hearing about it happening.

Me weekend

I think this was the best trip to Moab I've had in several years.

I have always helped out in years past but this year I couldn't commit due to some work stuff that could have kept me from going.

I managed to get lucky and be able to make it down so I met up with Fred Pierce from Az. in his buggy for the weekend. Chris Holick also joined us.

We ran Britney Spears, Green day, Upper Helldorado on Friday. Layed it over on the Drivers side on Green day, then almost made it on the roof while trying Suicide hill on Green day. We all made it up the water fall on Upper:D.

Saturday we ran Moab rim and Pritchet. Made everything with decent ease.

Sunday before leaving Fred and I ran Rusty Nail, went to the Golden Crack, then ran Golden Spike up to Goldbar Rim, then out. On our way out we stopped to see an old friend.

I think there's something in the air on that corner that I'm alergic to cause my eyes always start to water when I get there. RIP J.

One of the best views in Moab right there.

Made it home about 5:30 last night, showered and had dinner with my Wife, son and her parents, then to bed early cause I was tired.

Out of all the pics on my camera I found my favorite. This pic sums up what wheeling is all about to me, good times with good peoples.:thumb:

Wish I could have brought my dad along too.

Next year I hope to come for longer and get to know all of you guys better:thumb:
