BB 2019 last minute thrash

I just did the math. Round trip from Knoxville TN to Moab, at today's fuel prices, is $1600.

I think I got about 10ish mpg but I ran the cruise on 80-85 all the way so that’s 340 gallons. I get the first 126 gallons from the tank at work which cost about 2.80 / gallon right now. If my average cost works out to $3.25 that’s $1105.00. It’s just under 1700 miles one way from here.
I can’t wait to see @SpeedlabDan ’s fuel bill when he gets there. 2094 miles each way call it 4200 miles at 2 miles per gallon. Ouch!

Well I know I'm not big in this group but im trying to get my blazer running driving and in 4x4 by my bday in a month. Getting ready to order ord front spring bilsteins cross over hydro steering, 241 sye, drive shafts, install gears and locker in the front. Just waiting for the parts to finish rolling through. That said I got my tow rig 07 2500hd classic, 6.0 unfortunately. But it towed my k5 and all i own from phx to virginia this summer fine and dandy. Now I got headers and full exhaust and a tune so should be a bit better.
That being said I'm shooting for 2019 to be my first BB. Also google map is showing 2113 miles one way, 31 hours. If anyone from the easy coast wants to caravan out im down.

My BB19 thrash is finish rollcage, 4-link the front and 465/magnum swap. And a windshield hopefully.

I was going to build the suburban, but since I have the crew cab now as well, should I build that?
I know the crew cab should get the perkins and nv4500 and the burb should get the 454 fi 4l80e.
