BB'03 Location POLL

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

The way things are going right now, not sure I can afford to have one next year or at least go to it myself. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

It would certainly be cool to see you again, but i think i speak for at least a few of us when saying its not for the give away stuff or the dinner. All of that was fantastic and i certainly appreciated yours and your wifes hard work, Everything else was just so worth doing again. Thats why i think BB '03 should stay in MOAB.

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

Amen to that.

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

Thats OK Steve, we all decided that in show for all you and your family did last year we will all come to your house and look at pictures insted of wheeling! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
Seriously though what Tori said goes double for me, the food great, the giveaways even better. But the people and the wheeling stole the whole show! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

If you have to cut corners to do it, I dont think anybody will really mind. It looks to me like everybody would just like to get together and go wheeling.

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

WE are so going to Steve's! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

I did vote for Arizona but...
it will be really hot...
Moab was cool because there were trails for stock to wild rigs.
just my two cents

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

Yeah, but nobody showed up for the "MILD" trails except me, Thats one of the reasons my rig stayed at camp, well that and it was the smallest and didn't have a front driveline...I think someone should incourage smaller trucks to show or even 2 wheel drive Blazers after all it is Blazer Bash not Rock crawler Bash... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

I did the moderate run at BB02 with a stock height K5....
I've written a little story about it; it's in the Knuckle....

I really agree. Moab is the only time that I really see rocks. It would be cool to have it somewhere else that has more regular trails and mud but where? Moab still has it for the size and the variety of trails.

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

I would like to go anywhere my truck can make it without ruining it! It's my daily driver so I can't break it...that bad. Of course any front diff stuff doesn't matter, and I'll take two extra rear 10 bolt shafts...but I'm thinking Moab would be cool...that or Ouray, I here it's beautiful there. So, I'd say somewhere with something for everyone, including the poor people with their trucks on 31's...

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

You can drive a ton of trails in Moab with your setup. Most of them are not hardcore. I think you would have a blast.

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

Moab was cool because the different level trails we ran all started in the same place. I took my Suburban on the easy trail, but got to ride out with the whole group, and that was great!

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

In thought of what steve said bought the whole leagal sp? aspect im thinking that there should be a form that states i so and so take full responability for my truck and any damage that may result form my wheelin yada yada that the participants sign> And 2 why go as a sanctioned event why not just go as a club, my friends do this frequently and the door prizes arent even a thing i usually go to moab for easter jeep and am not able to this year do to expecting my first little she wheeler the ending weeknd of the event. Anyway i for one am not made of money and i think that goes for a lot of us here on ck5 but my friends and i are thinking the week before would be kewl for the week before easter jeep wolud be kewl but that doent help the familys with kids in school just a thought from a fellow wheeler. Sorry bout the lenght and if i over stepped my boundreys sp? Thanx

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

I agree, I really cannot stand those people that made such events impossible to make. I never thought about insurance when I am doing something like rock crawling, and I would never have a law suit against someone that made it happen.
This person is already putting his time to make it a nice event and he has to worry about liability on top of that.
When me and my buddies go wheeling, we just go, everyone knows the risks involved or they would just stay home and never get out of the house, right?
I don't know the legal edge here since I have only been here for 2 years, but if it's feasable without huge expenses I say let's.

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

moab sounds cool but i'm not that into rocks. not with my sub anyway, if i had a K5 trail rig that wasn't a DD i'd be all for it. i want to go somewhere with mud, rocks and all kinds of stuff. hollister would be cool but it's on the coast and most people won't go that far.

Re: BB\'03 Location POLL

Aw, come on muddy... we can drag the Burb's asses together! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif I might fab up some rear protection with roller to protect the gas tank...that or just put a trailer hitch on it...
